Stitch Service / Workshop notes
Match the technician to the machine
Mechanical, computerized, serger and industrial service can be different jobs.
Name the machine type.
Tell the shop whether it is a domestic mechanical machine, computerized or embroidery model, serger, industrial machine or longarm. A general service claim does not prove support for every category.
For a heavy machine, ask about travel.
Some technicians advertise house calls or in-home service. Check the service area, visit charge and whether the work you need can be completed on site.
Separate repair from warranty work.
Multi-brand repair and manufacturer-authorized warranty service are different claims. If warranty coverage matters, confirm the correct service route with the manufacturer and shop.
